Firstly, check your Dell computer's invoice : have you paid for a full version of Microsoft 2007 when you bought the computer. If yes :-
Since the Microsoft 2007 was pre-installed with your Dell computer, along with the computer, Dell must have shipped you a small card with the product key for Microsoft 2007, printed on it : you may have misplaced that card.
In this case, you have to contact Dell Customer Cervice 1-800-624-9897 (I am presuming that you are in the US)
