Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Hi. Try this fix. With your ps3 on standby mode and with a solid red light, press and hold the power button until you hear a second beep. This means that after the usual first beep, there should be another one while you are holding that button. Releasing the button will reset some settings, and hopefully will put your ps3 back on track. You can try bypassing the soft start and try recovery console.

If you are getting this error it is called the no display error.
The reason that it happens is because the GPU which deals with all of your graphics has overheated. You just need to stop the heat build up in order to make it work again.
The first way you can fix the No Display Error is by sending it in but bear in mind for this problem there is a $150 charge for the repair which is pretty steep!
