SOURCE: After running a full cycle dishes are covered in detergent residu

www.dishwasherfilter.com has a great product specifically for this problem. it filters the water going into your dishwasher removing the hard minerals that cause this problem. after the first load my dishes looked amazing. it is very affordable and fits right under your sink.

SOURCE: D3350 F4 indicator

F4 This is a Fault with the water fill

Note: Lights blinking, pump running and controls dead indicates an over fill fault

1. Disconnect the power to the unit

2. Remove the lower access panels and check the tray under the dishwasher (you will probably find that it is full of water)

3. Use a towel or a sponge to remove the water

4. There is a float that should stop the operation of the dishwasher and run the pump if water is in this tray. Check this pump to see if it is functional

5. Test the dishwasher

6. If there are no leaks from the dishwasher into the pan, check the drain hose under the sink

7. The drain hose must run up to the top of the underside of the counter top then down to the drain. (If the hose is not set up like this, water from the sink drain will flow into the dishwasher and overfill the tray

SOURCE: d3350 washes but does not

The heating element needs replacement. It is located under the base of the dishwasher and is an inline heater. See item 305 in this manual.

You will need to check the model is correct for the country that you are in.

Problem with dishwasher

inspect the drain, there may be debris in the drain system. While at it see if you can clean the unit. Normally food that had remained on the dishes would accumulate and start clogging the unit over time.

White film is all over my inside of the dish washer & dishes

This sounds like excess soap or not enough water. You may also have really hard water.
Turn on machine wait until it starts running see how much water is inside. there should be a 1/2 to 1" +/- in the bottom but not enough that the wash arm would be touching and not enough that the door would be leaking when you open it. This could also be a circulation problem set wash arms a certain way and observe that they have moved when you open after running for a minute or 2.
Please let me know if I can do anything else to help.

3make sure toadd the correct soap.
4.once the unit starts to wash check it to see if steam comes out when you open the door. if it does then everything is correct. let me know if my suggestions works by rating me with 4 thumbs if it work .thanks

Kitchen aid dishwasher not cleaning dishes well. especially the top rack. practically taken the whole thing apart can't find any clogs.

sounds like you have a broken chopper. have you checked the chopper how far have you taken it apart? if the unit is put back together point all wash arms in the same direction turn the dishwasher on after it has started washing give it about 2-3 minutes open the door and see what wash arm is not moveing. if the upper wash arm is not moveing you need to check the chopper.

Have a 2+year old LG LDF6810ST dishwasher that shows no error codes but is not cleaning like it used to. Have city water, do not leave excess food on dishes when loading, am only using powder after...

Try these things in order:

-Try to use a name brand powder, rather then a generic. Even a small box. I had similar problems with my LG dishwasher when I tried to save money by buying a generic powder. My dishes did not get clean and white marks were left behind on my stainless steel DW liner and the dishes. When you ad the powder, do not over fill the dispenser. Add less than the full dispenser cup and close it. Place some powder in that shallow square indent on the dispenser lid to help the pre-wash cycle. Also, run the water in the sink until hot water runs immediately before you start the DW.

-If, after using Electrosol or Cascade for 2 - 3 loads and your dishes do not come out clean, then I would run a load of dishes without adding the soap. Start the dishwasher and wait for it to fill and begin to wash. Open the door and add one cup of vinegar (white vinegar is fine.) Feel free to ad another cup after the first wash water drains and the second wash water enters and the DW begins the wash cycle again. Run a load of dirty dishes with the soap and check for good cleaning.

-If the problems continue, it is time to remove the filter assembly by removing the 9 silver phillips screws from the filter assembly. You will also need to remove the lower sprayer arm by pulling straight up and then out. With a flashlight, inspect the sump area that was hidden by the filter assembly, looking for any debris that has jammed into anywhere down there. Watch out for broken glass as you feel around. Reassemble and test with a load of dirty dishes.

The poor drying may be caused by not keeping the rinse aid re-filled. Check that first.

Also, these water and energy conserving dishwashers actually use the "dirt" from the dirty dishes to help clean the dishes during the first two wash cycles. Simply clear the big chunks off the dishes and put the dishes in the DW.

Please report back what you find or if you have more questions. OK?

Mold growing on dishes

Recommend that you run another cycle with no DW soap aded, waiting until the dishwasher has filled with hot water and begins to do the first wash cycle. Then add 1/2 cup of bleach to the water and close the door. Allow the cycle to finish. Run it normally with a standard load of dirty dishes. Note: These high efficiency dishwashers count on the "dirt" of the dirty dishes to help wash/clean the dishes. Recommend you not rinse/wash the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher.

Watch for any occurrence of the black dots and repeat the bleach treatment.

We had this problem too. We switched to the Electrosol tabs (with the red dot in the middle) for soap, and it seems to have fixed the problem. Make sure you have the rinse aid in there too. Good luck!

Whirlpool adp 2966 f4 problem

I think on those you can gain acces to the outlet hose through removing the right hand side panel, if you do this I would advise changing your pump that the hose connects to ad this is probably whats causing the f4.
