Klipsch wont charge classic

I bought the Klipsch iGroove speaker/docking system, and it worked fine to play and charge my iPod classic. Then it stopped charging the iPod. Amazon replaced it under warranty, but the new one is the same. It plays and charges a 5g video iPod okay, and the classic charges up on an apple dock. What can have happened? Any help much appreciated.
