Question about Microwave Ovens

I have just acquired an original Kenwood Chef A700 mixer that needs a good service and clean-up. I would appreciate a service manual and any other technical documentation that you are able to provide.

Thanks for your response Michael but I am after a Service Manual and Technical Documentation. Kenwoodchefrestore only provide user manuals.

How do I get my problem to BGR1 (guru)? He has supplied
technical documentation to other Fixya clients with similar problems. I thought I had
directed my problem to BGR1 because I put it through the Ask Me button on his profile page.

Thank you Jayantjha355 but my mixer is the original A700 from the 1950's. I have procured a user manual from kenwoodchefrestore.co.uk but they don't offer any service manuals which is what I need to repair and maintain this antique. I much appreciate your time and effort to reply.

Thanks rockmeister but my mixer is the original A700 from the 1950s. The retrowow site only refers to the later A701/ A901 models from the 1960s. Your reply is still much appreciated

There's a manual advertised from http://kenwoodchefrestore.co.uk/8fjhwo34j0g83jh2pdr0274jko39f78amaperit654oendf-0e-38hdw7few74h354jg9354jn60fbu4ijhoManuals.htm for 50p. I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for. The site also advertises that it restores the kenwood chef A700 at http://www.kenwoodchefrestore.co.uk/
I hope this is of help to you

Care and cleaning
Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.
A little grease may appear at outlets and when you first use
them. This is normal - just wipe it off.
Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry.
Never use abrasives or immerse in water.
Wash by hand, then dry thoroughly.
If you have a stainless steel bowl, never use a wire brush, steel
wool or bleach. Use vinegar to remove limescale. The stainless
steel bowl may also be washed in the dishwasher.
Keep away from heat (cooker tops, ovens, microwaves).
Wash by hand, then dry thoroughly.
Discolouration of the K beater, whisk and dough hook may occur if
placed within a dishwasher.
Wash by hand, then dry thoroughly.
You can look at an online manuel at:

or look this link and search a manuel for your model:

The manuel is not available for free you can buy it from:

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I require a distributer of kenwood food mixers in s.a. as i repair kenwood mixers in zimbabwe and would like to deal direct with a reputable company regards a.campbell

Most major manufacturers supply manuals online so if you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, you may be pleasantly surprised as usually, if available, one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, Dealer Network for spare part supplies as required.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

Can i use the kenwood chef with the dough hook for the second kneading in bread making

If you use the dough hook it will remove the air built up in the rising dough. The Kenwood should have a beater or paddle for that.
I prefer to use my hands and give the bread a good beating!
