Sometimes when I turn the washer on; it continues to run the water without filling the bowl. Seems like the washer thinks its in rinse mode.

Check your drain the drain hose must be higher that the tub or it will run down the drain.
It must be going down the drain or you would have water all over the floor If the water is coming in it has to go somwhere. In rinse cycle it should stay in the tub until the timer kicks it into drain and spin.

My Vabis 2010 washer shuts down during the rinse cycle rinsing normal-soiled items with cold water

FE: Water inlet valve stuck open
Water valve is stuck open and needs to be replaced. The best way to check if the water valve is the problem is to remove the top cover, run the machine to get the water running. While the water is filling, remove the connector to the water valve that is filling. If the water continues to run without the connector, the valve needs to be replaced. If the water stops flowing when disconnected, you may have a control board problem and will need it to be replaced

Leaking toilet from overflow

if you flush and the water continues to run into the bowl the it is the flush washer that needs repalcing
If that water shuts off and the cistern fills and then continues so that it flows down the over flow pipe into the bowl the it is the water inlet control washer that needs replacing

I have a GE Top Loading Washer. Model Number wcse4160b3ww. When I put it on any cycle it will not fill with water but insteads immediately starts to agitate. It will then go through the whole cycle...

most likely the water valve is faulty. The inlet water valve is at the end of the fill hoses. trace your way to it and get a new one and replace it. Before you do check the inlet filter is not blocked. good luck

Rinse and Spin cycle stuck and not rinsing or spinning properly

Just read your posting. Now just a couple of questions. Are you using a warm fill for the wash or cold?if are using warm try cold only and take note of the time it takes to fill.I don't think your cold water is filling properly. My manual says that with only the 1st rinse light working it is your control module that is faulty. Please try a cold water wash and reply back so we can rectify this problem.

My maytag performa washer continues to drain while filling, therefore never starting the rinse cycle. The drain pipe is in a loop position so I know it is not siphoning the water out and the washer seems...

how far does the drain pipe go into exit drain because this shoulh not pushed into pipe more than 6" and should have a air break and also the drain pipe should be above top of bowl line
