If the power connections wer correct and your ground was also done well the set must power on. Also check if the standby power was also connected to the switched output from the head unit.
if all these are fine then you might need to take the set out remove and check for the internal fuse or failure of some component in the power supply front end.

My dvd rom is no longer playing

Always check the connections and power supply first. if this doesn't work and everything is connected, you might try to update the DVD Rom firmware. a program (free) called Imgburn will allow you to check and find any firmware available. If this still doesn't fix it you may need a new drive (they don't last forever).

Green light blinking very fadley pc will not turn on

Sounds like you might have a partial power supply failure. Try unplugging the power supply from everything. Ther should be a switch on the back that is red and says something like 115/220 just flip that switch over to 220 and wait 5 minutes then switch it back to 115 and replug everything in and then try it. If it doesn't work then unplug everything again and let it sit for about 30 minutes (this resets the power supply) and reconnect the wires and if that doesn't work try getting a new power supply. In partial PCB (Power Supply Board) failures the problem is that trere isn't enough power going to the system to start up so sometimes resetting the PCB will fix it temporary. You should get a new one anyway. that one will fail completely soon. Good luck!

Doesn't print the whole page

Try to re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.

2. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

3. Delete the Lexmark print object.

4. Reboot your pc.

5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.

6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, then try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Hello my laptop will not tun on when i slide thepower switch. HELP ME PLASE. PLEASE Thank you VERY MUCH

Check for voltage at the tip of the power connector.
If there's power there, try removing the battery and powering it up.
If that doesn't work, you can try a new power supply, but get a written guarantee that if the unit doesn't work, that you can return it.
If a new power supply doesn't fix the issue, even with a new power supply, then chances are unless you are an electronics technician/technologist, you aren't going to be able to repair the unit yourself.
Most places will want to replace your motherboard - don't use these shops.
Find a place like www.SuperTech-IT.com that does component level repairs and can evaluate and repair the motherboard rather than replacing it.

The LED in my motherboard is on, but if i turn on the switch, their is no response. the power connection is correct. but it doesn't work

Try swapping the power button connection with the reset button connection. Then to turn on your computer you will need to press the reset button. If that works you have a faulty power button. Otherwise try using a different PSU. One that you know works. If that doesn't help the motherboard will have to be replaced.

Make sure your power supply is set for the correct region you are in, if that does not work, check the obvious stuff like your monitor having power and being on and all that. If that doesn't fix it your Motherboard is likely fried and you will have to replace it

Rh11@gmail.comdoes not fire up green power light on but cooling fans dont run and multi meter does not register any power through

Remove power supply from PC, connect it to AC power, then connect green wire with any black wire.
If it starts - check 12V AC, 5V AC.
If it doesn't - there are no user serviceable parts inside, just replace power supply

We went away forb the weekend. I put my computer in a hibernate mode. Now I can not start it.

The best way to fix this problem is to unplug the computer. Then try to restart the computer. If this doesn't fix the problem the best thing that you could do is open up the computer. Take a look at the motherboard, and find a button cell battery on the motherboard. Remove the button cell battery for 10 seconds and then put it back. If this does not fix the problem then take a look at power button and see if it is connected to the motherboard. If this does not fix the problem the other problem could be a bad power supply, which you would have to order a new power supply from newegg.com which would be the best price and install it.

150 W ATX Power Supply HP-150SS

All you have to do is connect the green wire (normally thinner than the rest of the cables) to any black wire. This can be done easily with a short piece of wire. If the power supply doesn?t immediately turn on (within 2 seconds) remove the wire, you may have connected it to the wrong wires, although most power supplies won?t allow a short to damage the unit. Once on, the power supply isn?t loaded so the voltages won?t be as stable as if they were used in a full PC, however it?ll be sufficient for most uses. It?s not a good idea to leave a power supply on in this fashion for a long period of time too."
