Question about Xerox Phaser 6115MFP/N Laser Printer

Blurred prints The copies are not as crisp as they used to be and there's a white steak down the middle of the page. If I need to clean the imaging unit or rollers...how?

It really sounds like you need to replace the imaging unit.

Copier has double imaging in dark down the middle of paper


Your drum cleaning blade has gone bad. The blade cleans the drum between copies. When they go bad they can not keep the drum clean and some of the toner from the previous page is left on the drum and is reprinted along with the current print. The toner also builds up which is what causes usually the dark band where the double imaging occurs. Pretty cheap part at around $30. Just need someone who can install it for you. I would estimate the total cost to be around $125 to $150 depending on your local labor rates.

Epson Stylus CX4800 prints blurred pictures


ok..first you will need to print the nozzle check and see if all the color are printed out fine.. this feature is under the printer properties , under the utility tab.... assuming all your colors nozzle are printed fine..then the next thing for you to do is do the Print Head Alignment.. it's under the same place where you print the nozzle check.. when you press the Print Head Alignment, it will print a page out with many lines.. choose the one with the best alignment.. once u done that..try printing the image again..
oh..if your nozzle check print out is not good.. then you will need to perform head cleaning to clear the clogged head..

you need to reassemble image unit and clean completely
if you dont know how to do just bring it your printer to technicians

Colors print blurred


I had that problem too. The weird thing was if I printed in black and white, the printing was fine. For me it looks like it was a new defective photoconductor unit. When I stuck the old one back in, no problem but my old one was producing 4 color dots all the way down the middle of the page. I went on eBay and brought a re-manufactured one (buy at your own risk) and the color printing was perfect again.

It might be your printer catridge problem. Try changing it and giving it a nozzle clean.

Hp color laserjet 1600 copies have a blurred image


This sounds like a registration problem.

Use the menu (on the printer) to print antest page AND a configuration/information page.

Look (critically) at the alignment of the seperate coloure Yellow Magenta Cyan. You will probably find that these are out of aligmnent across the page.

The cause of this, is that the printer can't perform a calibration properly (printer probably takes a long time when calibrating too) and is usually down to failure of one of the sensors on the transfer belt.

Sometimes you can clean these and solve the problem, but often is a failure of the component itself. Thes are NOT available as a spare part, and the repair to correct this would need a replacement transfer belt.

Transfer belt replacement in this printer is quite an involved task, though it is within the capabilities of someone with reasonable mechanical aptitude.

The document feeder on this machine uses a separation and a feed roller ,the pad is on the bottom and the roller sits on top . in most cases the pad will be white if it is not it must be cleaned .use isopropyl alcohol. then clean the roller using water on a paper towel. On the tray issue if the paper is torn or nicked the sensor flag may be damaged if it is you will need a service call . if the paper is not nicked check to see if the default paper size has been programmed into the user settings on the copier [ read the owners man.] When you send a print to the printer go to printing preferences and check on the paper size being sent to the printer it must match the paper size loaded into the machine

Thick Black Line on my copies and faxes


Can't image it being anything but scan glass, if prints are fine, are you sure you cleaning scan glass(inside of where originals are fed)?

If so then scanner lamp faulty, but I've never come across it myself on this model.

White line across printed page


Hi Alms, Is there any chance you can post a scan of one of your faulty pages. This would help to assess the fault. If you print several pages, does the image move further and further down the page with each copy? Is the white band repeated down the page? If so measure the distance between each band - this will help identify the faulty component.
