SOURCE: changed batter remote start not working

Hello, What has happened is your remote has lost its programming.. Just like with most electronics, when something is reset or powered off, or even when the battery dies ....the programming software is lost. The remote has to be reprogramed either by a dealer (suggested) or by an aftermarket outsource..Hope this helps...This could help with almost all remotes.

SOURCE: boa remote start system is not working

It may very well be that the remote on your key chain needs a new battery. They typcally run out of juice after about a year of use. Its really not a big deal. Test this theory out. Hope everything goes well for you.

SOURCE: Cars rpms goes extremely high, have to shut off

The problem you have described do not sound remote start related. A remote start unit does not have the ability to alter the RPM. The remote start system only replicates the process of turning on the ignition, starting the engine and keeping it running for a predetermined length of time.
The heater temperature problem should not be remote starter related either.
As for the day time running lights, although rare, if wired inproperly there is the possibility that the remote starter has caused it to fail. This will have to be determined by a qualified technician.

Keyless remote stopped working, I replaced battery

The 1997 to 2003 Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan use a standard key and remote setup with a separate remote fob. However, the 2004 to 2009 Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan use a combination key and remote on one device. To program a new keyless entry remote for the 1997 to 2003 Dodge Caravan, you must have at least one functional remote, which is required to enter synchronization mode. To program the combination key for the 2004 to 2009 Dodge Caravan, you must have two functional combination keys. If you do not, you'll need to see an authorized Dodge dealer for keyless entry programming assistance.

2004 to 2009 Caravan Programming Instructions
  1. Insert one of your working combination keys into the ignition. Turn it to "On"; leave it in this position for about 10 seconds but no longer than 15 seconds. Turn it to "Off" and remove it.
  2. Insert your second working combination key into the ignition within 15 seconds of removing the previous key. Turn it to "On". After 10 seconds, you'll hear a chime and the "Theft" light will begin to flash, entering synchronization mode. Turn the key to "Off" and remove it.
  3. Insert the combination key you want to program. Turn it to "On." After 10 seconds, you'll hear a chime; then the "Theft" light will turn off. When the light turns off, the combination key--including the key and the remote--is programmed.
  4. Repeat Step Three for each combination key you want to program. A total of eight can be programmed.
Hope this help (remember comment and rated).

I just had my battery changed and now none of the gages are working. How do I reset these?

The Pontiac sunbird and chevy cavalier share this problem. You must find the fuse for the instrument panel, remove it, make sure that the contacts are clean and the fuse is good, the re-insert the fuse. If this does not work, Take it to a shop. This has worked for my 2002 cavalier, which does this often.

Many autostart devices also have security systems incorperated, first I would try to arm and disarm the system then try to start again. Then check the autostart controll unit to see if there is a reset or fuse. If not a reset often times there is a disable for the autostart witch will allow you to diagnos the starting problem without the aftermarket device. If non of that helps post your next message with an update plus make and model # for the autostart.
