Your battery is dead...replace it or see if it's still connected to it's connector( by removing the battery cover that have one screw hidden )

PALM WILL NOT TURN OFF

Hold the power button until it shuts off. Holding the power button down for a long time constitutes a "hard shutdown" and most of todays gadgets do shut down by actions such as this.

If not, then wait until it dies then recharge it. If you don't want to wait, carefully take out the batteries then put them back in. After you turn it on again it should be fine.

My Palm tungsten E2 hand held PDA is totally frozen and locked up

Best thing to do here is to remove any memory cards etc.. and do a hard reset - seems like soft reset will or has not worked...

Press and hold the power button - keep it pressed and gently press the reset button on the back of the handheld.
Wait for the Palm Powered logo to appear and release the power button.
You should get a message warning about erasing all data. Press up on your 5-way navigator to reset.

This will erase all data inlcuding user information from the device, but synchronizing should get it all back - but you will loose anything that was not recently sync'd

good luck

My mobile is dead

I just had this happen to me yesterday. I fought with my phone for about 3 hours removing the battery and trying to restart it. It would take about 5 minutes for it to finally boot and once it did the touch screen would not work. So I did a hard boot and within 5 minutes my phone was back to normal. I lost all my contacts but I just did a restore with the backup software. To do a hard boot hold down the red and green buttons on the front of the phone and push the reset button on the bottom of the phone with the stylus. The reset button is on the right side of the power/usb plug. As I said my phone was back to normal in just a few minutes.

Lights on, nobody home

By accident, I did a hard restart while plugged into my computer. That fixed it. Don't know why.

Treo 755p (Sprint) Will not pull power from battery or AC

Depending on how old or new (maybe a bad battery from factory), this is the only thing I found related -

My battery loses its charge very quickly
Like all Lithium Ion batteries, the battery in your device will eventually wear out. If you charge your device fully but it loses power after a few hours (or sooner), it may be time to replace the internal battery. Arrange for a repair.

For best results, don't let your battery fully drain before recharging. Lithium Ion batteries last longer if you "top them off" frequently.

Nokia 6670 shut down

Do you have dropped the cell sometime. You may need to open the case to see for any loosing connection. Sometime, for a long usage, some connection with the main board has been misaligned or relocated cause loosing contact. The only way to know what happens you need to open the housing. If you need instruction, please view the link below: http://uselessinfo.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/nokia-dismantle.htm http://repair4mobilephone.org/disassembly_nokia.html I hope this gives you some hints
