Hi,
Look on the side of the condenser ans see what the max amp draw is...if it is 30 amps or less you can run 10 wire...if it is 30 -40 run 8 wire if it is 40-50 then run 6 wire...

Do I have to use a wiring harness for Klimaire multi-zone mini split or can I hardwire into the power between studs? Are there any cables that need to run from the wall unit to the outside compressor

The specs on that unit dont list the wattage of the head unit. I would be very careful about just tapping into the wiring in the wall. First off you need to know what the wire size is in the wall. The second thing is that you have to enclose it in a box if you tap it. The outside unit is another issue. It has to have its own source of wiring and it has to meet specs for outdoor use. So you will have to run a circuit just for that. No matter how you do this. You should have an electrical inspection done before it is finished.

Outside compressor and fan stay on

Hello, the relay/ contactor coils will be located in tje control panel of the outside unit. You can follow the the wires from the disconect box into the unit, it will lead directly into the relay/ contactor. When both the fan and compressor run nonstop even when thermostat is satisfied the the contactor is welded and must be replaced.

Do i need a main breaker for a 200 amp panal?

This looks like an indoor panel. If you have an outdoor panel next to (or below) the power companies meter, It should have the breaker to feed such a panel. Thus, this indoor panel should only be required to have "main lugs" to receive wire from outside breaker. NEVER size breaker outside bigger than the equipment rating of inside devices. If from the power companies meter you intend to feed this panel, YES it is required to have a Main Breaker.

I Am installing a Generac 20Kw air cooled unit with a 200 amp service disconect ATS What size conductors do i use from the generators 100 amp breaker to the transfer switch

It is always good to install a large enough wire where the maximum load can be drawn plus a little extra for safety. 7 gauge wire will do, if it was mine I would use 6 gauge wire. If the length is over 20 feet but not longer than 80 feet go to the next larger size wire.

If it is a split unit this is a unit with a furnace and air handler inside with the condensing unit outside. If your inside fan is running ck your outside fan and seeif it is running. If it is it is probably the wires to the capacitor or the capacitor its self. Some capacitors have 3 wires this is a dual capacitor with a 5uf for the outside fan and a 35up for the compressor. on some there are two seperate capacitors one 5 one 35 uf. also it could be the wirng to the capacitor they will be melted and chared. all of this is located in the outside unit where the elect wires go into the unit you can removethe shell but first disconect the power there should be a disconnect switch near the unit. if not trip the breaker. be carefull with the elect.

Carrier infinity control SYSTXCCUID01-B sensor communication erro

There should be a little black sensor bulb outside either on the unit normally under the electrical panel or inside it. It sound like the wire has come off or been disconected. It needs that on to properly run. Your control is trying to communicate with the outdoor unit and can not.

Goodman heat pump wiring

ok Let me see if this helps if not please comment back with the t-stat model and make as well. The Y terminal on the t-stat needs to be connected to the Y terminal on the heat pump board. If this does'nt fix it your thermostat may have something different going on so please send me the model and make of the t-stat. Also if you know does this unit have outside temperature sensing probes, and or an automatic defrost cycle?

Ben, you are on the right track. To upgrade the breaker, first look at the main house breaker panel and determine if allowing more current through main breaker will be taxing it too highly (will 20 more amps exceed my main breaker limit...what is the main breaker current trip at?) Then look at the wire size leading away from the 40 amp breaker to outside. If it is 6 gage copper or 4 gage copper-clad aluminum wire, you are ok to upgrade. Any smaller wire size could be unhealthy.
