Kodak easyshare c190 digital camera is not reading the memory card

Do you have pics stored on the camera's internal memory? If so, that's the problem. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" to erase the internal memory. Then insert your card and it should work.

Pictures were saved to internal memory how do i get them out?

The way it works with my camera is when I connect it to the computer with a memory card in the camera, the computer sees the contents of the memory card only, but when I connect it with NO memory card in the camera, the computer sees the contents of the camera's internal memory.

Try removing the memory card from the camera, then connect the camera to the computer with a USB cable.

The following information can be used to approximate the average number of pictures that can be taken at each setting: 4.0 MP: 150 pictures 3.5 MP (3:2) : 167 pictures 2.1 MP: 270 pictures 1.1 MP: 451 pictures NOTE: Internal memory can store up to 1500 images, tagged as Favorites, optimized for viewing on the camera. We insert a memory chip into our Kodak EasyShare C190 camera. The read-out informs us that the memory card requires formatting. We click on "OK." The camera goes into a "formatting" mode, then informs us...

Your camera is only supporting SD/MMC Cards (up to 2 GB) and KODAK SDHC Cards (up to 8 GB).
The card that you currently have might be faulty. Please try another card.
You might also need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.1: Menu, Cam settings, Chose AUTO or SD card option Press OK
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.

I want ot down load the photos from my Kodak easyshare M873 digital camera to my PC.How do i do it

If you have the USB data cable that came with the camera hook it up and plug it in and it should show up as a Removable Drive when you click My Computer; you could also use the SD card if you have one put that into your computer if you have an SD card slot or an external SD card reader.

If you don't have a manual it is available online here:

Good luck!
