Hi. Go to this link for the details on how to sight in the rifle. http://www.chuckhawks.com/sight-in_rifle.htm

The Widefield 3-9x variable power scope had a front objective lens measuring 36x27mm. It was 12.38" long and weighed 15.0 ounces. The horizontal field of view at 100 yards was 42.5' at 3x and 10.9' at 9x. The optimum eye relief was 3.25-3.0". The 3-9x variable scope was the most popular all-around choice in the market place. It was suitable for big game rifles in calibers ranging from .243 Winchester to 8mm Remington Magnum, expressly including such all-around favorites as the .270 Winchester, 7mm Remington Magnum, .308 Winchester, .30-06 and .300 Winchester Magnum.

Does a Simmons model 533940 work on a 7mm Remington

Any scope will work on any gun. Its effectiveness requires your to match capability with need. A rimfire scope is intended for a 50 yard zero. If you expect to do most of your shooting at 50 yards, it will work fine.

Manual bushnell sportview 3x-9x.32 scope

The Winchester 94 ejects the spent cartridge straight up and out of the top of thr receiver. This nesesitates mounting a scope off to the side to avoid jamming the action with a spent case hitting the scope and failing to clear the action.

I have a Redfield 3x 9x riflescope with a bent horizontal cross-hair. It is an old scope I've had for years. I was wondering if it is covered by warranty? If so,where do I send it for repair?

Redfield was purchased by Leupold in 2008, and is only able to repair and service Redfield scopes made in 2010 or later. If it was made before 2010, then it isn't covered by warranty, but Leupold does suggest contacting Iron Sight, Inc, if you want to ask about repairs and associated costs. Here's what the Redfield/Leupold website says:

When Leupold & Stevens, Inc.® purchased Redfield in April 2008, it did not acquire the capability to repair Redfield products manufactured prior to this purchase. The repair tooling and parts were purchased years ago by other repair services. Leupold & Stevens, Inc. will service its manufactured Redfield product (manufactured from 2010 forward) in accordance with its published warranty.
At this time, should a non-Leupold & Stevens, Inc. Redfield product require service, we suggest contacting Iron Sight, Inc. (918) 445-2001. This contact is provided for information purposes only, as Iron Sight Inc. is not affiliated with Leupold & Stevens Inc. They should be contacted directly for all information regarding repair, service and associated charges.

I purchased a Fujinon 3.5-10X50 rifle scope a few years ago and mounted it on a Remington 7 MM Mag. I am unable to pull a group less than 12 inches at 200 yards and have not been able too since installing...

It is most likely the mounts not the scope. I would just install it on the new gun and check it there. Most times a scope that wanders is the mounts. One thing with big scope is they need to be tight or the recoil will move it in the mounts. Next due to being tight when the gun heats up it can and will tweak the scope in the mounts enough to move your center. Try it in your other gun, try 3 shot groups and let the gun cool. Recheck your center. If it is good with a cold gun all is well. If it moves from one day to the next it is the mounts. If you count the clicks to recenter, come back the next day and move it the same clicks, it is the mounts. If it is all over the place, day after day it is the scope.

The best guess I can make using my books going back to 1970. Cant be sure of the dates they started, but about 1980 Redfield made what they called, Widefield low profile scopes. They made 7 of these Widefield scopes, 3 Variable power wide view and 2 they called Accu-trac Varable these 2 are in 2x-7x power and 3x-9x power the Accu-trac scope is the one you have I believe.

Yes thats about all there is to it, adjust in small steps and tap on the barrel of the scope with a screw driver handle (light taps) after each adjustment before firing the gun.

Cap cover pentax 3x-9x scopes

You do not define "cap cover" as to whether it is a 'lens cap' of which the Objective Lens comes in varying sizes with the 3x9 scope depending on the model.
However, you should be able to find one in the size you need at most any Firearms supply store. I have even found a lens cap for a Leupold at a Walmart.
Barring that, go to; www.pentaxsportoptics.com, they should be able to help you in your quest.

Good luck. :)
