Hello there,

The Windows Media player can be found when you hit Start button and go to All Programs or Programs. It should be listed on the list. If it is not listed there, then you can just click Start > Run then type wmplayer.exe then click Ok. If you are using vista or windows 7, just click Start then on the search field, type wmplayer.exe then hit Enter.

Please let me know how this goes.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Please go to control panel and click add/remove programmes. Here check for the new version that you have installed. Remove it and you will get your old version.

If it is not there, then go to Start --- Programmes-----Accessories-----System tools ---- System Restore.

If you can find a highlighted previous date here select that date and restore your machine to that date.

No longer seen by any computer

For me, having upgraded Windows Media Player to version 11 caused the problem you are experiencing. Find a computer with Windows Media Player Version 10, then use iRiver's firmware update tool to install new firmware (version 1.77), then your T10 will work fine even with Media Player Version 11.

The sansa player icon doesn't appear

I had the same problem and someone recommended downloading window media play version 11. Apparently the lower versions of media player do not have the correct driver. My sansa clip works on my Lenovo laptop and it has windows media play version 10. So I think vresion 10 or higher will work. Hope this helps.

Tansferring Songs

Your problem sounds different from the one I had, but you might try the solution that worked for my problem: Go to a computer that has Windows Media Player Version 10 (not version 11), use iRiver's firmware update tool to install firmware version 1.77. Then, for me at least, my T10 worked on Windows Media Player Version 11 computers.

Weird?.....

This problem may occur if you are running Windows Media Player 11. Open Media Player, click on Help ---> About, for version number.

If necessary, uninstall Media Player 11 and it should roll back to version 10.

Install and run Philips Firmware/Device Manager and select repair option. Follow the on-screen prompts and try synching your tracks again.
