The error simply means that you have a defective memory modules. If you have more than one memory module, remove all then install one at a time, this is to isolate the defective module.
Good day and good luck.

HP Pavillion won't recognize Plug n play devices

Look into the Bios or System Setup and make sure Plug and Play is enabled. When you turn the system on notice what key it says to hit to get into the Bios or System Setup. Hit that key and check the Plug and Play to be sure it is enabled.

One or more of the RAM memory modules are bad and must be replaced. You will need 2 of these if you have the pc above

Hi. happy new year! my problem is it's not booting cp. i has check problem it come out memory (4096mb) error code(BIOME-1). what's problem that? can i change just new memory? thank you.

First try re-seating your ram modules to make sure they are properly seated. If that doesn't help try removing each module one at a time and restarting each time to see if start up is normal. Keep in mind to keep each module in it's original slot!!

Is there a fix for biome-1 error

I purchased 2x2gb Ram sticks... along with a new case, I had them all installed by a client of mine who owns an IT company and I had the pleasure of waiting around for 4 hrs while they ran through all the RAM tests... PC works fine however as soon as I'm away for it for any length of time I come back and its continually rebooting. diagnostic says RAM test failure Biome-1.

Removed the RAM and fitted fresh, problem solved.

Hope that helps.

You have a faulty port on the motherboard most likely, try the ports and see which one fails. You can either buy a new motherboard or just buy a bigger chip to use on one port.

i would think its a motherboard issue too by the sounds of it. find one that has a similar specification and fit it, I will suggest one if you need me to, just give me a list of the hardware you have installed on this current machine

Try a different brand of memory.

It is unlikely you can do anything with the memory you have to fix this problem.

The memory has the same specs as what another manufacturer recommends.

Be careful buying from auctions as they MAY be gradeouts. Always make sure you can return the product. Crucial has these for about $114 for your machine as an example.
