Question about Televison & Video
The possible fault in your DVD system may be due to the following reasons:
1. inadequacy of the mechanism to complete the loading prrogram and so the mode remains unfulfilled. Hence the microprocessor never gets the final words for completeion of the total cycle and so gives the errror message as unable to play.
2. The seccond reason can be that after loading the servo does not take up the drive- this is the spinning and tracking. So if these is a driver failure in the main board for the motor conttrol this can happen.
3. One the possible fault can be the failure of the optical head. It is often found that heads are the majorr causes when it comes to a disc not playing. So you can clean the head and try to see if the laserr is detecting- do not look into the eye- if not the optical headd assmebly needs a replacement.
4. Finally the main board- the controla nd processor can be faulty. This must be checked in to see if there is any signal to drive and if so can it be due to any IC being defective in the procesing section.
Analyse these issues one by one.
