Question about HP Photosmart C5180 All-In-One InkJet Printer
You sure can. Go to the page below, choose your operating system, click the blue "Next" button and you'll be at your software page. Once there, download the Full Version to your desktop by saving it there. Next, go to the Control Panel>Programs and uninstall the printer (it will be there in the programs list from when you plugged it in). Unplug the printer. Restart your computer if prompted to do so.
Now, hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard at the bottom left and press the R key. A Run window will appear. In that window type %temp% and hit Enter. Now you'll be looking at your temp files. Left click your cursor once in the window and then hold down the CTRL key and press A. All the files will be highlighted. Hit the delete key and remove all the files that windows allows. Close the window.
Finally, double click on the software install file and install your printer and DO NOT connect it until prompted. You'll be good to go.
