I'm in Bangalore, India and have inherited an old Philips Gramophone record player from my grandfather. Everything works except the turn table which spins. I think there's something wrong with the motor. If i rotate the turn table manually, I hear sound and at the right speed, the recording too. Only problem is that the motor stops spinning after the initial start. I'm not able to find anyone to get this repaired as it is quite an obsolete piece of technology. I don't want to get rid of it for sentimental reasons. Someone please lend me advice on where to send it for some good but cheap repair.
