Is it a wireless computer ? If it is wireless computer then make sure that it is connected to the wireless network . If ti is connected not connected to the wireless network then you will need to connect to the wireless network. If it shows it is connected then check the IP address on the computer.

Are you able to access internet when you connect the router with the computer or laptop using a cable if yes then you need to open the setup page of the router in the wired connection with IP http://192.168.1.1 and then need to check the wireless settings
Right now you might be connected in the local network means the connection between the router and computer is fine and the issue may be between the internet service provider and the router for that you again need to open the router setup page and do the internet service provide settings on the router

Sounds like you need to 'copy' the mac address of the computer it was orginally hooked to before and put it into the router. Some routers have an option to do this in the settings menu of the router with one click.
1. Make sure that wireless settings are properly synchronized. >> ssid/security key. 2. Check your computers wireless connection status > Make sure that it is set to "obtain ip address automatically) 3. If still not working if computer is set to obtain ip automatically, try assigning static ip on wireless pc > You need to know your router's ip address and dns 4. Disable firewall on wireless pc.

Easy fix, unplug cord going to computer, unplug it from the blue spot, plug it into the black spot, plug the ethernet cord from the black spot to the blue spot.

hi, even if it's connected properly if its not properly configured it still wont connect..so does it mean that other pc could connect? how bout your main pc does it work? which pc wont work? whats the o.s.? if you like i could help you i just need to know the full detail so i could help you diagnose it
