Have you tried to update the river, some drivers fail either because they are not compatible with your OS or they need updated and installed properly.
you can easily, go to
start menu>control panel>device manager
find the driver from the list the you will need to right-click on the driver/device and the click update driver, then just follow the easy step by step update process, once finished restart your computer and try to use the driver.

Where to get Zonet ZUC2831L SIM driver

It is not your computer that needs drivers, it is the hardware you need to connect to the operating system that needs a driver. From Windows 7 and up, Microsoft only allows drivers, if the manufacturer asked for certification and the hardware and driver and they work conform Microsofts demands. If the hardware and driver is certified the driver is also on the Microsoft website. Most of the time if you use new hardware the operating system goes to Microsoft to see if there is a correct driver and then installs the driver.
For older hardware, only few manufactures make drivers and ask certification. Most only develop drivers for their new hardware. So for older hardware there are only a few drivers. If Microsoft can't deliver drivers, or the manufacturer from the hardware can't, you are lost. The devices won't work with the new operating system. Nobody told you that before upgrading. Since I upgraded to win 7 I could not use several expensive things I was used to, like a great Logitec webcam in a sphere, a great sound card from Creative labs, with break out box and so on.

Can't copy and paste. Checked properties and it shows drive to be full, but it is new and never been used.

As per you told, it seems your hard disk have fallen prey to virus. Or it could be because of bad sectors in hdd. Try these steps:- 1)Use device manager and uninstall the hdd drivers. 2) Restart your computer 3) When it starts, plug hdd. 4)Computer will take it fresh detect and will automatically install hdd drives. 5) If still same copy paste problem remains then i highly recommend you to format the hdd completely. 6)Defregment the hdd regularly. Hope it works.

Will cloned Hard drive work with new MoBo and CPU

No, it's not true, but you will need to buy Partition Magic to clone the smaller drive onto the larger one.

The new MoBo and CPU might give you more trouble though. All of the windows drivers for the old MoBo will be confused when they see all new hardware. In the olden (WinNT) days, this rarely worked. Now in the WinXP SP3/Vista days, you'll probably be just fine.

SATA Drivers for Hitachi HDD

Is there a BIOS setting to temporarily put the SATA controller into legacy mode? XP would then think it's an IDE drive. Then, after installing XP, install the drivers from the motherboard CD, then go back into the BIOS and turn off legacy mode.

Driver for window vista

I had a similar problem with Vista preloaded on my Compaq. When Vista asked for a driver I chose to manually specify a location, then told it to look in C:\windows\system32. It asked a couple more times and each time told it C:\windows\system32. USB devices work great now.
