Question about Mitsubishi VS-45607 45" Rear Projection Television
HI, I have the same problem as you do with the mitsubishi vs-4561 and was wondering if you got it fixed or discovered a solution. From what I can see online its the filtering cap that does it (either c7001,c7014,c7026 or c7036) a comb filter to be exact. I would appreciate any more info though! Thanks!
Good Day, pleasehelptv;
Those caps may be the problem but try this:
VERT JITTER/HORZ UNSTABLE-CHECK 'GE' CONNECTOR PIN 5 FOR 1VPP Y SIGNAL INTO PIP PCB THEN CHECK 'GE' CONNECTOR PIN 11 FOR 1VPP Y SIGNAL FROM PIP PCB. IF SIGNAL AT PIN 5 IS GOOD AND PIN 11 IS CLIPPED OR REDUCED. CHECK ALL ELECTROLYTICS (I.E.C7001, C7014, C7026, C7036) AND ALL CONNECTING TRACES TO THESE CAPS FOR CONTINUITY 2. HORIZONTAL TEARING,VERTICAL JITTER. SIGNAL RELATED CONDITION. APPLY FOLLOWING CIRCUIT CHANGES ON PCB-SIGNAL: A. REPLACE R2K8 WITH A 1K RESISTOR (BASE OF Q2B2). B. REPLACE R2K3 WITH A 47 OHM RESISTOR (IC201 PIN 50). C. ADD A 100PF CAPACITOR FROM BASE OF Q2B2 TO JUNCTION OF R2L0 AND R2K6 (GROUND).
HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL.
Good Luck, big IRISH.
