I have a Westclox W3 manual wind up wrist watch that I need to remove the stem on how do I do

Removing the stem on a manual wind-up wrist watch can be a delicate task, as it requires some knowledge of watch mechanics. Here are the general steps to remove the stem on a Westclox W3 manual wind-up wrist watch:
  1. Make sure that the watch is not wound.
  2. Use a small screwdriver to remove the crown from the watch. This is typically done by gently pressing down on the crown and twisting it counterclockwise.
  3. Once the crown is removed, you should be able to see the stem.
  4. Use a stem removal tool to push the stem out of the movement. A stem removal tool is a specialized tool that is designed to remove stems from watches, it can be found in most watch repair kits.
  5. Carefully remove the stem from the movement.
  6. Once the stem is removed, you should be able to access the movement of the watch for repairs or maintenance.

Need help with removal of 97P144 links

Removing links from a 97P144 watch band can be a bit tricky, but with the right tools, it can be done. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to remove links from your 97P144 watch band:
  1. Gather the tools: You will need a small screwdriver, a pair of pliers, and a link removal tool (specifically designed for removing links from watch bands).
  2. Locate the link pins: Look at the back of the band and locate the link pins that hold the links together. These will be small, thin pins that run through the links and hold them in place.
  3. Use the screwdriver: Use the small screwdriver to push down on the head of the link pin, and then use the pliers to gently pull the pin out of the link. Be sure to keep a firm grip on the pin as you pull it out, as it can be tricky to remove.
  4. Repeat the process: Repeat this process for each of the link pins that you want to remove.
  5. Use the link removal tool: Use the link removal tool to push the link out of the band.
  6. Reassemble the band: Once you have removed the desired number of links, reassemble the band by pushing the link pins back into place and securing them with the screwdriver.
Be sure to take your time and work carefully, as you don't want to damage the band or the watch itself during the process.

How do you change battery for casio 1174 CMD-40?

I like these little RC IR watches. They're great fun!!! For this tutorial, you will need....
  • A small Phillips heads screw driver
  • A pin (or needle)
  • A replacement CR2032 battery
Instructions :
  1. Remove the 4 screws from the back of the watch
  2. Carefully remove the back plate, do not damage the delicate rubber seal
  3. Carefully remove the delicate rubber seal
  4. Use the pin to remove the small rubber block from the battery cover clasp.
  5. The pin should then be inserted in the gap of the white plastic lug, where the rubber block was removed.
  6. Use the pin to gently pull back the clasp of the battery cover.
  7. The battery cover will then open with a 5mm gap approx. It does not need to be removed.
  8. Use the screwdriver to remove the battery.
  9. After the battery has been replaced, just follow the instructions backwards.
I hope this little tutorial has helped.

Removing links

Watches either have screws in the links that you can remove to remove a link. Or they have a pin in each link that you must push out to remove a link. Some have a "hairpin" looking keeper that you remove. Hope one of these will work for you. Good Luck

Fossil jr9339

I can only give a general guide.
Usually, watch bands can be shortened by removing links. These links are commonly held together by small pins. These need to be removed with a very fine punch. Looking at the ends of the pins, one end commonly appears "split", the other end may look quite smooth. The pin needs to be driven out from the "split" end. 2 will need to be removed to remove 1 link, then 1 replaced to rejoin.
Links should be removed equally, so gar as possible, from each side of the band. Your choice which side if 1 only is to be removed.
Sometimes the ending links are different to the others. It is only the ones that are identical that can be removed.
