This is one of the most difficult repairs on this machine. It requires complete breakdown to the frame and I do not recomend anyone that is not familiar with copier/fax service try it! You have to take off everything down to the frame and it will take several attempts even for an expert to do this right the first time trying it!

I also have a unit that makes noise and I was told by "Verdie" to try replacing the fuser. I have no idea even where to start... full detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated. I am a computer Tech and fax repair is new to me.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hp lj 4100 50.2 error

is this error on a lj4100 or on a cm1017?
if on a 4100- then the complaint is that the fuser has not reached the required temperature in the allocated time- replace fuser kit with CORRECT fuser ( lm4100MKIT) and not a 4000 fuser which is not the same even though they look like each other.
if its a cm1017 then the error is poor communication with the thermal resistor measuring the fuser temp. again replace fuser kit to resolve

My brother MFC 8860DN printer has an error showing: Rplace fuser. Does it have a fuser and where can I get it?

Open it up from the back of the machine. Try reseating the fuser first. If that does not help, then you need to replace it. Probably the ceramic fuser element is going bad? It is either not heating up fast enough or heating up too fast. If you can print test sheets, and the text is too shiny, it would be a fuser that is too hot. If you can rub the text off the test sheet, it is not fusing fast enough and there is not enough heat.

Try ebay for a fuser. They are fairly simple to replace.

Recieve the fax and print the pages well. But, when I send the fax to other fax it prints two black lines on the right side.

Hello,

The problem should be from the printer fuser assembly, the other party will need to replace there fuser assembly on there printer, once that is done, the problem should be fix.

Take care.

Fuser & Scanner are not the problem

Either the laser unit is dirty or blocked. Or the drum cartridge.

Paper jam problem in laser printer 4100

if this happens every time you need to replace the fuser. but there is a possibility it could be the main gear drive assembly, 9 times out of 10 it's the fuser. a gear on the fuser usually breaks a few teeth. the fuser is very easy to replace and is a part that will eventually need replacing on all printers.
