Hey; I'm still having problems

Hey;

I'm still having problems communicating to my hand held.

Please review what I done and comment.

When I turn on the hand held it says it is a TH-D7(G)
I have down loaded your software for the TH-D7(G) when unzipped it has a picture of a hand held with a Brown G over the left hand side.

Then I made up a cable for it.
I used a Female 9 pin D Shell connector.
Where the tip is TXD and pin 3 of the connector
Where the center is RXD and pin 2 of the Connector.
Where the back is ground and pin 5 of the connector.

I then use A Radio Shack USB to Serial connector. Which works on other equipment I have.

I use 9600 , 8, none, xon , xoff

Operating System is windows XP PRO

Do you see any thing that is not correct??
