Generic problem for all Danby Air Conditioners

I bought a Danby 5000BTU

posted by joel_gallama on May 15, 2008

I bought a Danby 5000BTU air conditioner yesterday. Installed it and used it last night and after only 2 hours it turned all to frost inside and hardly any air was coming out.
I had the temperature on the coolest setting.
So I made the temperature warmer and a few hours later it was un frosted inside and the cool air started to come out again.
So I made the temperature at it cooleset agai and it has been running for about 2 hours and again its all frosted inside.
This is not normal and I assume I should return it or will I have the same problem with all of the units.
I also bought a 8000BTU but it does not have this problem.
Is there some where I can call for information.
