Question about Televison & Video
A schematic witth no electronic tools is a disadvantage. I would prefer that you must a have a mutlimeter to check basicc voltage conditions for the possible fault.
1. Check the Power supply voltage, see the +B, the +5 to the processor.
2.make sure that there is no component that is heating up in a hurrry. If so discconnect and check for short or check if the set powers up.
3.Check the voltage on the processor controller using the schematic , see for the trigger volatage and feedback.
4. While shutting dwon and restarting look for the voltage build up in the output sections, if there is a good loss then disconnec the section to test if the shunting stops,
5.During the period of the shunting do you get the picture on the screen , if yes then check for faulty storage electrolytic capacitors.
6. If no then check for fault in the Y-processing stages.

This is a classic switchmode power supply, shutting down to avoid a fire, explosion, or both. This set had developed a problem, that is so severe that the set must be shut down, This set should be removed from the Power, and in my professional recommendation, you should get a "Quote" for repair, from, a, Sharp, Approved Service Center, this point is very important for a good result, Always contact, their local, Sharp in your case, Contact, a "Head Office", or an Agent. Now, when you get the information you want, from the "Quote" well, then you can decide as to repair of replacement. The reason we want an approved agent, is that way, all the engineers are trained on their own brand sets, they have seen almost all faults, and will get the job done quicker, and for less cost, and usually have parts on hand, also sometimes, there has been a service bulletin in issued and the repair may be subsided or even free.
If you wish to DIY, (NOT really recommended) I have included a link for your service manual.
I have found a link for a service manual, below.
Another copy here, in case top link is bad, whatever. http://english.electronica-pt.com/electronics-search.php?find=32SF56B

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
