My spa turns on by itself sometimes too, but I was told it does this to maintain temperature. The heater only runs when the water is pumping.

With time you get condensation in the air tube. It has a very low PH and will build an alge block.Once this occurs a change in air pressure or air temp will cause it to trip the switch. So you will need to pull in new tube. It's a good idea to go with a new button when you do this.

Power trips out when jets are switched on

I'm going on somewhat limited information here not knowing if the tub is newly installed or if this is a spa that has been working in the past and just started doing this. It would be helpful to know if this is a recently installed pump as well. That said here are a few things to check.
If it's a new install: Your electrician has more than likely wired the spa incorrectly. Be sure that the spa pack has 220V going into the pack and that the GFCI is wired correctly.
If it's an old spa with a new problem: A lot of times a bad heater element can cause a spa to trip the breaker. If you have a bad element the spa will operate normally for about a minute when you turn the power on, then trip the breaker as soon as the heater kicks in.
If it only trips the breaker when the pump is turned on to high speed, more than likely there is a problem with the wiring of the pump or the relay on the pump itself.

The air switch on my Kohler whirlpool tub, when depressed will not start the motor. However, if I take the plastic hose off the switch and blow into it, the motor starts fine. I've replaced the ai

There are Air Switches (at the motor or control box) and Air buttons (on the spa/bath side). The vinyl tube between them is the only other component to the 'switching' on/off a hole in the tube may cause this problem.
The air switch has a diaphragm which is activated by the air in the tube when the button is pressed. If the air pressure is not sufficient the switch will not operate.
As you've replaced your Air button, you might want to change the tubing and either adjust the Air Switch or replace it. The switch only needs 1-5psi to activate so the pressure from you blowing into the tube can damage the diaphragm in the switch.

You could have one of several problems.
The air operated switch may be faulty.
There may be an air leak at either end of the pipe linking the switch and the control button or the pipe is kinked or blocked.
It could also be a worn or cracked o-ring in the control button which is not allowing the the control to provide sufficient air pressure to operate the switch.
Check all the pipe fittings for air leaks/restrictions. . If air pressure appears sufficient, then switch should be replaced

What air compressor you can recommend me for inflating 10x20 truck tires? please give me the right specs. thank you

Noramally a 250 litres capacity with 5 hp motor /three phase would be enough for the job.
You can increase the tank capacity to higher level if the requirement is commercial.

Hayward Heater Problem ''AO'' error. H400IDH

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

It sounds as if the air activated switch the tube you mention attaches to is not working. Pull the two wires from it and connect them to simulate the switch closing. Start up the heater to see if you get ignition. If so, replace the switch.

If this answer does not fix your problem, please comment with additional details prior to rating the answer. Positive feedback is appreciated once your problem is solved!

Hot tub pump stops and control panel says there is a flo problem

Yes a pump does have a thermal cut out. When the motor gets too hot the thermal cut out will activate and the pump won't restart until the motor has cooled.

If you were an electrician, or highly confident/competent with electrics, you could test the motor with a volt meter. Run the spa and as soon as the pump stops running, check the voltage at the pump. If there is voltage at the pump, then the thermal cut out on the motor has activated. Do not try checking this yourself if you're not competent to do so.

You could also do the same test at the spa pack if it's easier to do so, just locate the output to the pump.

What spa and which spa pack have you got?

Cheers,
Ian.

Kohler bathtub spa does not work at all

If the air tube is still connected to the air button on the side of the tub and you are pushing it with no results then either the motor is no good, the air button is no good or the air switch in the box is no good.
process of elimination, start with the pump. take the switch off the motor or out of the box and make sure you can get the motor to come on. If the motor comes on then move to the air switch and hook it back up and see if you can blow into the air switch with a new air button or a straw and see if the switch will activate the pump. if it does then you most likely have a bad air button ($12). If you cannot get it to activate the pump then the air switch is bad ($21).
