Check the fan if it is working.. if not ,can you hear any humming sound coming from the motor? if there is you need to remove the cover, then remove the circular fan,try to turn on the unit without a fan if the motor is running then just clean the rust in the bushing and shaft of fan by using sand paper. then put lubricant in the shaft and bushing(oil or wd40 or grease). make sure that you remember all the parts and the position of it.. good luck

I have a 42" wind

the first thing to check is that the remote control is working and the control panel of the fan itself are working probably and i think they did but you have to check first
this fan oscillating control button is not a mechanical connection like the regular fan so if you are not using it wrong(and i think you don`t ) an if all the buttons are working -except the oscillating function - (and i think they are ) turn that thing back and test it at the shop

You might have a stripped gear in the tower where it oscillates. Hope this helps!

Aloha Breeze Tower Fan Will Not Oscillate

hi,

yes this is the oscillation motor, and they generally arent servicable, and need to be replaced, you can try and oil it, sometimes they have small air vents, and you can do a voltage test with a voltmeter but I believe the motor has failed or is gummed up, you can try and take it apart, they are held together with bent metal compression areas along the circumfrence of the motor, try sewing machine oil, you might have to do some research to find a replacement motor, maybe take it to a local clock shop, those motors are very close to what they used to put in old wall clocks.

good luck
