Question about Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder

1 Answer

Hi. I got the Dazzle DVD Recorder Plus recently (came with DVC 101 hardware and Pinnacle Studio 12). I got the drivers installed and hooked it up okay. I'm putting a game system's A/V jacks through splitters and running them to my TV and the Dazzle at the same time. The problem is, when I turn the game system on, the screen on the TV starts to get what looks like scan lines running all over it, and the audio buzzes until the audio from the game actually comes in. There is no actual video from the game, only those scan lines (which seem to fluxuate along with the audio). When I look at the audio and video going into the Dazzle, the audio is desynced with the audio coming from the TV, and the video is there, but it's distorted a bit and has the same "scan lines." What can I do to fix this? I have WIndows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and my system is well above the minimum requirements for the Dazzle.

Try other drivers. Just install and uninstall if they don't work. Usually, windows have a load of drivers for such. I had same kind of problem before with more than one of my devices before but I got them to work on other brand's drivers. It just takes a little trial and error loading and unloading different drivers.

My computer will not install the dazzle DVC100 driver so I cant select it as a video source on the Pinnacle Instant DVD recorder. what do I do?

Hi and Welcome to Fixya,

The reason why it is now showing because your computer did not detect it. If your Windows operating system is vista 64 bit then go ahead and download the driver in here. www.pinnaclesys.com then click on support, download/Studio and dazzle hardware for vista.

Hopefully it helps you.
