Question about Kyocera Mita KM-3035 All-In-One Laser Printer

Hello, At our office we have a Kyocera Mita KM-5530 that is connected with everyone computer through a network which allows us to print and scan then retrieve the scanned documents through our server. The problem is that we are able to print documents but when we try to scan the documents like we normally do a message on the printer screen comes out that states "Check the DB Assistant PC. Contact Administrator." We really need help fixing this issue asap. Thank you.

The solution is easy! Push the Default Setting/Counter button on the top right side of the keyboard. Press the the Managment icon on the diplay. Enter 6-4-8-2 on the keyboard and select the Managment icon in the OFF position. Close all windows on the display and you should be ready to go.

u need a software called scanner utility to be able to scan to a folder on the pc u connected to.Unless u scanning to e mail then ur new server has different network details

Kyocera km 2050


The 2050 uses 2 network connections, one for the printer and one for the scanner.
Before I go into any great detail,
Do you have a home network? Are you using a switch?
Are you printing through the network connection or the USB/parallel port?
Are you trying to twain scan? Do you have the software CD for scanning.
If not, you will need to download the drivers from the Kyocera web site.
