My Vizio P50HDM went out last night, and now I have no video or sound.I wasn't in the room at the time, so I'm not sure if it made the "Pop."
If I simply try to turn it on, the LED flashes from green to amber a few times, then just stays amber.
If I unplug the tv and then plug it back in, when I try to turn it on,there is a "click" followed by a buzzing noise that comes from the backof the tv for a few seconds before becoming quiet. A couple of secondslater the "click" and buzzing noise comes back and then stops for good. However, the LED stays green, but I still have no video or sound.
Then if I turn off the tv again, I can't get the green LED to stay litby pressing the Power button unless I unplug the unit and then plug itback in.
Do you think replacing the Y and Z sustainer boards could cure myproblem, or does it sound more like the Mainboard or Main Logic ControlBoard?
FYI... I'd been noticing a scattering of red pixels (especially on dark scenes) off and on for a few months now.
Thanks for any help.
