Do you have the driver for it installed? also what kind of adapter? What operating system, This seams like an easy issue t resolve it's kind of common, but hard to explain without more info on your part.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Downloaded and installed the drivers for the SMCWUSB-G on to my PC. running windows 7 64bit. The device is regonized and connects to networks but i cannot connect to the internet via any of my browsers...

Basic question but have you tried restarting the computer? Some networking issues are resolved by a simple restart.

Otherwise can you open a command prompt (click the Start button and type cmd) and run the following command:

ipconfig /all

You should see an IPv4 or IP address in the list. Can you confirm that it starts with 192.168.x.x? Most home IP addresses will have this format. Do not provide your full IP address as this could be a security risk.

is it running windows if so go to
Start/settings/control panel/network &sharing right click and open

Make sure that the router and the wireless computer has the same wireless settings. That is assuming that the wireless adapter has been correctly installed on the computer.

If you have questions just ask me and ill answer you as soon as I can.
