Try booting in safe mode with networking. when turning on your computer, as soon as you press the power button. continously tap on the F8 key on your keyboard and it will show you advance boot options, select safe mode with networking. upon the login page it will ask you to click NO if you want to run system restore, just click NO and it will show you the system restore page.
