You want to enable encryption settings. What this means is in order for you to connect to your wireless network you need to enter a password/encryption key to access your internet. Enable wpa encyrption adn then type in a enyrption key of your choice for example your phon number 2225551212.

Canonot access the setup menu I used

Try 192.168.0.0 or maybe change the last 0 to 2.

Do not use any switches ( \r\nl or any other combination ) for the moment.

Make sure that you DO have a connection with the Router, preferrably use an Ethernet cable just to make doubly sure.

I assume you have the User name and password to enter the Router software.>>??

Let me know if you need more assistance.

I have a Linksys wrt546 router. How do I enter the routers IP address.

First connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with defaults link
http://192.168.1.1
or
http://192.168.0.1
type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
then you can see configuration page of router.
If are not able to access it then go to start menu then type in run "cmd" then you see command propmt
Type in prompt "ipconfig /all"
then gateway ip is your router ip so you can access router with that gateway ip.
Still not able to access then reset router .
Press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back panel of router. Then you can access it with above link.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
Thanks.

D-Link DIR-635. Where can I find the "Web access Log"?

log on to your router > click on status> in left pane click on logs. Older logs are deleted when memory full.

If running the SYSlog utility you can save to a folder on your computer. You name the folder.
