There is 3 fuses right next to your flyback FL231 they look like small square caps should read 1.6 ohm on meter, also the capacitors you are looking for are green with gold writing 2200uf 16volts

Where is the capacitor

The start capacitor will look like the attached image and will be on the mains power side of the wiring connected across the compressor motor. The location of this capacitor will be somewhere within the compressor tower unit but could be in a separate compartment with other electrical items such as the fuse block or connection terminals.

When this part is no longer working, the motor will not start its rotation even though you will measure power to the motor. This part is a common failure and can be easily replaced, but only once the mains power is fully disconnected. Capacitors store energy so you should use caution around the contacts and wiring to avoid a jolt of DC.

I hope this fix is helpful to you.

Sounds like a solder problem. Look over the circuit board real good ffor cracked solder joints especially near the flyback and your Horizontal output and regulator transisitors. Could also be a defective capacitor look for signs of bulging or leaking capacitors.

When turning on TV in morning, I do not get the audio tone showing it came on, just the light. The sound does not start working for 10 to 15 minutes. With my cable box/DVR, I can rewind and get the...

Small micro chip near the bottom left of the tv. This is the main controller of sound. Easy replacement. Also, while it is open look for any of these:

Replace the capacitors of the SAME uF and HIGHER voltage values.

Thank you and best of luck!

Try to see the capacitor of your the machine. The capacitor looks like a circle tube of plastic ware where the 4 wires are connected to it. it is only for the washing machine with the dryer. If it's only a washing machine the, the capacitor is only a single or only two wires are only connected. To test if that is the common problem, try to connect another functioning capacitor.

My flip saw now turns the blade wrong way, av removed the drive belt and the drive stalls for a second then spins in the opposite direction of what it did

If the motor has a start capacitor, it may have become nearly an open/short circuit which would likely cause no-start or weak start. Check the wiring connections where the power comes into the motor--look for anything being loose. Replace the capacitor if everything else looks ok. Hope this helps!

There are four possibilities to look at here. Assuming your mixer has a normal capacitor start motor (older a200's used a different style motor), possibilities are, in order of likelihood:

Motor start capacitor
Start switch (electronic or mechanical)
Burned wiring
Motor start winding

The start capacitor is located at the rear of the mixer. Remove the rear cover (4 screws) and pull the cover towards you. Disconnect one wire from the capacitor and test with any multimeter.

The start switch, if electronic, is able to be tested, but not very easily. Once you've eliminated the other possibilities, it's time to replace the (electronic) start switch. If the motor has a mechanical start switch, it's easy to test: Remove the two wires at the rear of the motor and test for continuity with the motor stationary. A multimeter should show near zero ohms for a good mechanical start switch.

Burned wiring should be easy to spot with some careful inspection around the motor, capacitor, and start switch.

Start winding: Look closely at the stator (stationary part of the motor). If some of the copper windings look significantly darker in color than the others, it's likely the start windings were overheated (the start windings are the thinner copper wires - if you look closely, approximately half of the wires are thinner than the other half). Look for a wiring diagram behind the power switch and determine which wires leading to the start switch and/or capacitor are for the start windings and test for continuity across the start winding. You should read a fairly small value such as 5 - 15 ohms. Values significantly outside this range could indicate a partially open or partially shorted start winding.

Maytag msd2652keu side by side compressor gets hot shuts off and unthaws freezer i unplug 4 a few hours plug in and works 4 a couple weeks any idea

Check to make sure condenser fan is working (this is the fan located near the compressor). It should be running at the same time the compressor is running. If it isn't, make sure there is power to it by testing with a voltmeter. If there is, replace the fan. If the condenser fan is working, clean the coils and check the evap fan.

the problem is in the verticle section, if you are a technician check a verticle IC and a capacitor of that stage. to allocate a verticle stage follow 4 cables coming down from deflection coils, two of these wires goes near transformer, this is horizotal and the other two goes near an IC this is verticle. positive idea.

The only other thing I can figure is bad electrolytic capacitors. When an electrolytic capacitor gets hot, it raises the ESR (equivalent series resistance), and the higher the ESR, the hotter the capacitor gets, so it is an endless loop until something stops working because of a power problem. If the stereo is under warranty, I would suggest getting it RMA'ed. If it is not under warranty and you are feeling adventurous, you can open it and see if any of the capacitors near the power supply are bloated or leaking electrolyte. If so, they need replacing. Easy soldering. Make sure and get the same rating capacitors if you are going to replace them. This is what ultra bad capacitors will look like, although failed capacitors don't always show visible signs of failure.

check, using a capacitance meter, for capacitors on the audio circuit of the set. start at the the supply on thru the filter.
check for cold solders too and resolder carefully...
