Question about Acer AL1916W 19" LCD Monitor
I just bought an Acer LCD monitor and noticed that the frame rate for my Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 has gone down from 30 fps to 20 fps. I have the monitor connected to my pc with the 15 pin D connector cable. Would using the DVI connector make any difference? If not, what can I do to improve the frame rate?
Monitor should not have anything to do with frame rate.
If you have increased the resolution of your video card because the 19" is larger than what you had before, that could cause a frame rate issue.
Something else got installed, that is slowing down your machine...
Connect the old monitor and what is the outcome? Does the frame rate improve again?
