I just bought it and delivery man said he could not install it because my vent out of the roof is only 3 inches. Can I just use aluminum tape to secure the vent hose?

Local code determines the minimum size for dryer vents. Often this is determined from the manufacturer's requirements for the appliance. As you may have guessed, this is pretty much the standard for dryer manufacturers.

If you were to "adapt" the dryer's 4" pipe down to your home's existing 3" pipe, you would reduce the pipe's area from 12.6 sq inches to just 7.1 sq inches (radius squared x 3.1415). That's nearly HALF the required area that is required. Your clothes dryer will suffer. Drying times will increase dramatically as there will be less air flow. Electric / gas usage will increase due to the longer running times, and there could be significantly more heat inside the dryer that could be a fire hazard.

Don't do it. Either invest in the correct size dryer vent, or use another venting method instead of reducing the pipe size.

I know it's not what you wanted to hear - but I hope this helps. Please rate my reply - thank you.

How can I connect my mackie mixer 1202-vlz3 to my mac mini

use the xlr (3 prong) main left and right outputs of the board. get xlr to 1/4 inch cables. one end will be 3 prong, to plug into the mixer, then the other end will be a mono 1/4 inch plug, like a big headphone plug. Then you have to get a dual mono 1/4 inch to stereo 1/8 inch adapter and plug it noto the line in. if there is no lone in, but a microphone jack instead, you will get a mono signal instead of a stereo signal. in this case, just use 1 channel of the mixer, instead of both of the stereo outs, and use a single mono 1/4 inch to mono 1/8 inch adapter.

the xlr to 1/4 inch cables can be purchased at a music store. the 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch adapters will probably need to be purchased at radio shack.

WATER LEAKS INTO INSIDEBOTTOM AND VEGETABLE CONTAINERS

You have a top mount refrigerator and this is a normal problem. What you have is a clogged up freezer drain, and instead of water going down the drain it goes down the air vents into the frig! Here is what you do.

The drain is behind the freezer wall. Unplug the refrigerator first. Then you need to empty out all the food in the freezer. The screws holding the back wall in are generally 1/4 inch nut driver and phillips head screws. Take out the screws and the ice maker if you need to.

The drain is in the back on the bottom, and probably under a bunch of frozen ice. Just be careful not to damage the freezer, but chip away with a flat blade screwdriver, or just use the hairdryer on it all. You will need to soak up the water with a tower, there will probably be a lot. Next, you need to thaw out the drain, this can be somewhat difficult. Simply blowing hot air doesn't do much good, because it's a small hole. I take some 1/4 inch plastic water line and **** the water out. Then I pour HOT water (from the microwave) down the drain. I let it sit a bit and then I **** it out and reapply.

This process should get it clean. Also, once it's free, I take the 1/4 inch plastic water line and stuff it down the vent a LONG way and make sure any obstruction is removed. Now just put it back together!

The vent is a 4 inch round opening.  Per the manufacturers specifications, you should only use 4 inch solid metal vent pipe, not plastic or metal foil vent pipes.
