You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

Lost your photos, by deleting or formatting? But that doesn't mean you have lost the files permanently as you can rely on recovery software to get them back if possible.
As to recover deleted pictures, recommend you have a try of Wondershare Photo Recovery, a program which can recover lost pictures, videos can music with both Windows and Mac version, you can free download the program from the sites,
(For Windows Users)
(For Mac OS Users)
1. Download and install the trial version on your computer, then connect your camera memory card to the computer (I assume you are using Windows). Start Wondershare Photo Recovery and select the drive letter that assigned to camera memory card.
2. Then choose the file type (all, photo, video, music) click "Star Scan".
3. Now the scanning process will start automatically to look for the deleted items. You will then get a list of all recoverable ones.
4. Preview the photos. If your deleted ones are found, then you need pay to get the activation code. And click "Recover".
1. Take the free trial version before you buy.
2. Before your deleted items are recovered, do not take more photos or videos.
I hope you good luck, Merry Christmas!

Hi, you know, deleted files in any storage won't be erased from space immediately until newdata save and overwrite them. So, if you want to recover deleted photos from camera, you had better not use your camera to avoid data overwritting. When I accidentally deleted photos from my camera last month, I used a tool named Card Data Recovery to recover deleted files from camera, you can have a try: Cameara deleted photos recovery.

In my personal experiences, you should
always act rightly to get back your lost photos:
1). Immediately pick out the inner memory card of this digital camera. In your case, anything else on this camera memory card can be a great threat to your original photos.
2). Insert this memory card to your computer so that you can start to recover your photos ASAP.
3). Use a camera data recovery freeware that can deeply scan your card and get back your lost photos as many as possible. In fact, this freeware has ever helped my friend retrieve all his inaccessible data back successfully. It can be a really great chance for you.
