That sounds to me like an air restriction has caused overheating.
The blower wheel on these dryers tends to start slipping with age. dryer wont start

Dryer wont turn on

Lots of things it could be. I'd try the shut-off switch first.
There is a switch that is supposed to turn off the dryer when you open the door.
That switch is often made of plastic, and can break or even fall out inside the machine.
After that, I'd check the start switch to see if it failed.
Be blessed.

Dryer wont start,

HI, check the following to address this issue.

1. No power to the dryer
Make sure there's power getting to the dryer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power with a voltmeter or by plugging something else in.

2. Door switch / Door switch actuator lever
The dryer will not start with a broken door switch. Replace the door switch if found defective.

Most dryers have a door switch actuator lever - when you close a dryer door, it presses against the lever, which actuates the door switch. If the lever is broken, the switch would not activate and the dryer would not start. Replace the lever, if broken.

Note: Door switch actuator lever usually comes with the door switch assembly and it is recommended to get the whole assembly since there is almost no price difference between the door switch assembly and just the lever. Check your model for more details.

3. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

Note: It is recommended by most dryer manufacturers to replace a hi-limit thermostat when replacing a thermal fuse.

4. Timer
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

**The most common issue here will be a defective Thermal fuse

Valh my dryer model fer641fso wont start when i push the start button it does this low beeping sound bought brand new only owned for 5 months worked fine all day yesterday stopped working last night.

If power is getting to the tumble dryer and the socket is definitely OK, then the most common problem with tumble dryers not working is when the door micro switch fails, or the catch on the door that operates the switch either breaks or no longer activates the door switch. Check for broken door catches. There is usually a plastic peg on the door that pushes through a hole in the tumble dryer's casing where the door catch is. Closing the door should operate a simple micro switch. If the plastic peg is broken or bent it might not operate the switch properly. OR The start capacitor may have failed and i would not suggest you deal with that as they give out a nasty electrical charge, also check and clean all filters and check your user manual for further advice as your machine should still be under warranty, call the numbers listed in your manual. good luck

Estate dryer wont engage

Check the following--

1. No power to the dryer
Make sure there's power getting to the dryer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power with a voltmeter or by plugging something else in. Sometimes the power cord disconnects or burns at the dryer, if this is the case, the wiring and the terminal block must be repaired or replaced.

2. Door switch / Door switch actuator lever
The dryer would not start with a broken door switch.

Wont start, power to all parts, is there a reset button?

There is a wiring diagram on the access panel on the back, or in the control head.

Follow the path from incoming power through all switches and leading to the timer.

I suspect either the door switch or start switch has failed.

Hello,
Did you turn the machine off for 5 minutes and then restart it to see if it resets the system?
