As you look at the printer from the front, on the lkeft hand side there is a small box on the side bottom and a clip, undo the clip and empty the box into the bin by shaking it(NOTICE: THIS IS EXTREMELY MESSY!) then just pop it back where it came form

Replaced my waste cartridge with a new one and still getting error 357 waste cartridge full

See if your printer has some sort of reset button. contact Oki for tip.

Maybe you have to reload the software in printer. Try also unplugging printer while turned on. Then press and hold the power button for a minute or so. then plug back in and press power button.

I've replaced the toner cartridge and waste toner bottle, but the display still says 'toner low' and 'waste toner near full'. It refuses to print, even with the old cartridges.

Then you mite want to clean the sensor that monitor the waster toner box pull out the waste toner box and look for the area that show clear plastic then look for those area of the machine and blow the old toner from those areas waste toner mite have gotten on the sensor saw they can not see the clear plastic and think that the waste toner cart is still full.

I have a samsung clp500 color printer but it is not working .it show only waste tank is full/ not instaled what should i do.

The "waste tank" is located behind the front panel that has the SAMSUNG name on it. Press on the upper corners of this panel and it will open up to reveal a clear plastic tank on the right side.

This tank pulls out easily and has two holes for excess toner to flow into it.

Look at the side of the tank that has the holes. You should see a part of the tank that extends out from the tank but ends in a clear square. The waste tank sensor "looks" thru this clear plastic square to determine if the tank is full. I.e. if toner is in this area and you cannot clearly see thru both sides, the sensor will tell the printer that the tank is full and needs to be changed.

If the tank is not full, use a long cotton swab and clean out the inside of this area. Once you can see thru both sides, carefully replace the tank back into the printer and turn the printer back on.

If done properly, the error should go away and you should be able to continue printing. I have doen this and it works fine.

(Some posts have had people cut this part of the tank off and simply tape over the hole that is made with strong tape. This bypasses the sensor and would allow the printer to run again. I have not done this as I do not want the possibility of toner spilling in my office.)

Exception:

The sensor could be bad and causing the issue. If this is the case, it may be cheaper to purchase a new printer - CLP-620 ND is a duplex, networked color laser jet that is selling from frys.com for $315.
