Question about Canon PowerShot A460 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Hi I have a Canon PowerShot A460 and normally do notn have any problems at all. For the last few hours I cannot take any photos outside - all I get is a white screen. I can however take photos inside with the Flash. I realise that I have possibly changed some settings by mistake and have tried to set the camera to works settings but nothing has changed - I still cannot take photos. Can someone help me please??

Go into the menu and find "reset"...this will restore the original factory default settings and may solve your problem.

The A460 uses standard AA batteries. If you choose to use rechargeable batteries, you must charge them outside the camera in a separate charger.

No image display on camera mode

There are different settings. You can view the past photos because you are using the viewer for that, but you have a setting off in the menu. You need to turn on view photo or preview photo after picture taken. I am not sure what it is in the Canon line, but look in your manual for the setting.

Canon powershot a460

I have a Canon A460 that does this every now and then. Usually if I removed the batteries and put them back in, it does the trick. If that doesn't work, and the camera will stay on, try resetting it. Click Menu> Tools and then scroll all the way to the last option Reset All. Good luck!
