After charging the battery and the green light says its charged. I put it into my camera and it doesn't turn on

Do you have another battery you can try? The battery should be charged, must have a dead camera if that is the case.

What's your problem?I have a inca universal charger model rm-17 for cannon G11

Did you work this out? What should the screen read when it's charging? I'm trying to charge my LP-E6 in the inca RM-17 and the screen reads RE regardless of if the battery is in it or not.... I'm sure the terminals are touching

Canon zr700 won't play tape

That is the pinch roller. If it does not press the tape against the capstan, then the tape will not pass the read/write heads. Replace it.

I went to charge my canon FS100 camcorder than went to turn it on and it not working now what can be the problem?

have the same prob this morning, check the charging unit for the serial no. (will begin with CA) mine is CA590E, the 590 is a known problem to cannon, it will either discharge the battery pack (pray this is the fault) or it will internally damage the camcorder. mine is only 18 months old used a max of maybe 10 times. I will reply again this afternoon when i've tried a new battery charger, just waiting for my cannon dealer to open.

Cannon camera will not turn on

Dear Trish,

There are a couple of things that will usually cause this. A few are simple to check.:

1. Make sure that you battery is inserted properly and that your battery door is closed completely.

2. Make sure that your CF card is inserted properly and that your card slot cover door is completely closed.

3. Make sure that your battery is charged (charge it for 90 minutes) and that your charger works properly during the process. Your charger's light should go from red to solid green during a full charge. If possible test a fully charged battery on another camera. If you don't have access to another camera take your battery down to a local store that sells Rebels and ask to try it on one.

4. If these aren't the cause then you likely have an electrical issue with your camera and you should call Canon's tech support at 1-800-828-4040 to do a little troubleshooting and possibly send the unit in for service.

Hope this helps.
