Question about Keurig B60 Coffee Maker

1 Answer

When the machine is ready, (sm, med, lge is flashing), I press the lge button, the machine sucks up water, some goes into the k-cup but nothing comes down into the cup. The display says that it is brewing but nothing comes into the cup (sometimes just a couple of teaspoons of coffee). It sits with "brewing" displayed for a while and then the water that it sucked in comes back out from the little clear plastic tube that drains into the top of the water cannister. Wow, this is really frustrating. I've cleaned the area above and below the K-cup a few times. I just went to check the machine to see if it had actually brewed a cup and I notice the word "De-scale" on the display. How do I de-scale??????????

Hello The lights on the front of the machine wont stop flashing so I can't press the cup symbols to make coffee. The hot water is coming out though through the steamer spout. Thanks!

Circuit Priming
When the machine operates for the first time and when
all the water has been dispensed, the machine circuit
needs priming. In this case, the 4 buttons of the control
panel will flash at the same time.
• Press the ON/OFF button . The 4 buttons will
flash.
• Place a container under the cappuccinatore.
• Open the "hot water/steam" knob by turning
it anticlockwise.
• Press the hot water button.
• Wait for water dispensing to stop.
• Close the "hot water/steam" knob by turning it
clockwise. Remove the container.
When the first priming ends, the warming up
starts. Before brewing coffee, water and steam,
please wait for lights 15 and 16 to be permanently on.
The machine is now ready to brew coffee and dispense
steam. Please see related sections for operating details.
Note: if priming is not completed, the 4 buttons
will keep on fl ashing. The machine cannot be
used.

I have a new B31 mini plus keurig brewer and I put the water/coffee in, hit the brew button, it flashes red then turns off after about 2 minutes without brewing the coffee.

MODEL B31: I made the mistake of not running water thru the machine first (the Initial cleaning) and was unable to get water to come thru to the K-cup. Reservoir was hot and full and would not come out. SOLUTION: I took a bendy-straw and completely covered the inside needle coming from the top (that goes into the K-cup) and pushed it up with a fair amount of pressure and blew hard into the straw. Then sucked on the straw (BE CAREFUL IF THE WATER IS HOT) and water and some coffee grounds came out. The brewer worked perfectly after this!!

My Keurig B60 does not run at all. The screen comes on and says: Not Ready and also says auto off set. The cup lights do not flash. I cannot get the menu to come on. Unplugging it and plugging it in...

Not sure if this will help, but I had the same problem over Xmas. This was posted 8 Jan, and I cut/pasted it here. Sounds complicated, but it's not. Just print it off instead of trying to remember it! I'd be interested to see if you had the same 'codes' as I, and if your machine had hot water when it ran... I have not done anything since that post...

Patient: Keurig B60
Symptom: "Not ready" light is on. Reservoir is filled and needles are clean, so problem is not user related.

Internet search yeilded some hope for another Keurig machine. While turned off, simultaneously press and release the small and med button, then menu three times. You get into a programming/diagostics menu. As you scroll (via the menu button) mine says Ready 602, Brew 265, Autooff 099, Set 007, Set/set 099, Descale 099, and Menu 000.

While at 000, press the med button but do not release. Press and release menu and immediately press small, then let go of small and med together. Pump runs and water is circulating, but is cold. Not sure if it should be cold (just a test routine, etc) or whether the heater is blown or something more troublesome.

Anyone have any ideas/experience with this information (I have no problem in ripping the machine apart if I have to. It can't be that complicated!).

B60 just flashes not ready yet ,have unpluged and tried that small cup med. cup and menu thing nothing changed

There has to be water in it first off. See my solution on the B50 with a similar problem. Before the lights blink ready the top (K-Cup Holder)has to opened and closed. Then the lights should blink and it should say ready to brew. I wish I had included that in the previous solution on the B50.

Nead help pleace

When it says to ventilate, it is asking you to prime the pump. Put a cup under the panarello wand ( the steamer/frother) to catch the discharged water and press the hot water button (upper left button on my machine). Wait until air stops coming out with the water, usually 3-5 ounces, and then press the hot water button again.

You machine is now ventilated (primed) and should be ready to go.

Hi,

try to set the grinder to grind little more coarse, you have to make 2-3 cup to get the new settings to work.

To get off the ventilate you have to press the button for hot water and make a cup of water.

Hope this will help you.
