My touchpad on acer aspire 5735z will not work

How to unlock keypad?

Read the Manual.

Get onlineand got to In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Look for Manual and search them for the keypad.

Keyboard is not working

If you accidentally locked your keypad of your notebook, press FN + F6 this will unlock the keypad/ touch-pad. Still not working turn off the notebook, remove the battery from it, wait for about 30 seconds, insert the battery back and turn ON. this will fix the problem.

The keyboard is frozen, how do i unlock it

try restarting the notebook and you would see a light lid up next to keypad.If still does not..Try restart and keep tapping F2 key there restore to defaults and Ok. It should work.

to unlock the computer, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keypad. Or you may restart the pc.

Can log in but cannot type,keypad is locked, how do I unlock it?

Try to go to control panel and the touch pad properties and click the default settings, then re-start the PC and your keyboard hopefully will start working again.
