I bought a craftsman 7in. buffer/polisher. 3800 random orbits per minute. Model # 172107210. When I got home the manual was missing and it was the last one at the store. Where can I find a copy I can print out from home? Thanks, Vince

It comes with a specific wrench that has 2 little pin the need to insert in the wrench cap lock.Also you need to lock the cap with a button that you press to lock so you can torque the cap to loose the disk.

You can get replacement bonnets at most hardware stores and auto parts stores. There are different diameters, so you'll have to know the diameter of yours.

Polishing bonnet undoes itself and flies off after 20 seconds--tightly attached as well


Sounds like bonnet is stretched or oversized. You might try putting duct tape or velcro on the back side of pad to help anchor it in place.

The armiture has a winding problem, common in a lot of power tools. Replacing the armiture is not cost affective unless your time put into it is worth it, sorry. I recomend the Dewalt veriable speed, nice professional buffer!
