Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I have a Technics Minidisc player, as described above. This is quite an old system, and I have not used it for a few years. Today I have tried to use it, but when I insert an MD (I have tried several), The display flashes "TOC Reading", but then ejects the MD, and displays "No1 F15".
Can anyone decipher this error?
There's a simple way to make it work again: open the chassis and tilt it 90 degrees. blow dry air (..) across the reader part of the drive (just over the lens and a little bit to the back of the bay. use no liquid and no cleaning tips. The error is clearly related to dust....worked fine for me on two drives. don't forget to mount the cover afterwards ;-))
