This is really bad, Sorry to say that it might not be worth the cost but if you can get dealer/service shop to buy the boards for a barter, invest with the remaining for a newer model.
Check with the LG service close to you for an estimate. If you have Insurance then there is no need for worry as it will be taken care of.

Can you fix this cracked screen problem on Vizio VW42LFHDTV10A? and no sound?

We used to say have a short service on the patio and buy a new set---damaged panel display unit is more than set cost (if it is even available)
Let it go---when damaged it can instantly damage other boards/parts in the set.

Run a car with no oil and see what happens........

If the screen looks like black ink on the screen then the screen is broken (ie cracked on the inside).

I dropped my model No. A1241 phone and the touch screen doesn't work but it has no cracks. how can I fix it?

not having a crack on the screen doesnt mean your touchscreen will work. you said you drop your phone, it has a great possibility that it cause an internal damage to some of the microchip inside your phone that controls the sensors of your touchscreen.need to reheat the microchip inside it. open your phone and try to check for the microchip near the flex from the board of your phone going to your screen. then reheat it, but dont move it.

Dropped my blackberry pearl, now it will not turn on

inspect your screen, and try to look for tiny fractures / cracks.....you will need to use a flashlight, and look at an angle VERY CAREFULLY, because if it does have any cracks, they are gonna be hard to see (about the size of a cat hair, also look for "prism" colors.....as in rainbow colors.....if you see that, then the rails in the screen have cracked, and bled.). take the battery, sim card, and memory card out....wait 20 minutes, and put them all back in. try to turn the phone on....if nothing happens, take the phone back to the store, or find out about your warranty info if you still have one.....otherwise you're looking at getting a new phone.

i'm thinking your screen could possibly be cracked, but more than likely, something got knocked off of the circuit board, and will need to be repaired by the manufacturer either way.

Eskia cracked at bolt that holds in seat

Typical problem with Eskia. To repair: remove seat and bolts, weld new material in the crack from both sides or fill with plastic epoxy, re-drill hole and install SS fender washer on top side.

CRACKED SCREEN

You cannot repair the broken LCD screen; the white you are seeing is the backlight for it. LCDs have extremely thin gold deposits along one edge that is contacted by a silicone rubber strip that has fine wires molded into it vertically and one edge is pressed against the LCD panel for contact. It is a fussy arrangement when new and it sure doesn't get any better when dropped.
I wouldn't delay too long looking for parts or repair; Polaroid filed for bankruptcy last week although I doubt if the parent had anything to do with the manufacture of your camera; as with many companies with limited manufacturing means, the camera was surely built by others.

Thinkpad T61 Display Problem

LCDs are not repairable, it is something you need to replace when defective. They also happen to be very very expensive to replace.

Is the screen cracked at all? cause sometimes when laptops get bumped, it is actually just the lcd cable inside the laptop that came a little loose and isn't making a full connection. If the screen isn't cracked or anything I would at least look into a possible loose cable first If you are not comfortable taking the laptop apart, I would bring it to a computer shop and have them take a look at it as some laptops can be complicated to open up. They shouldn't charge you more than about $40 to take a look at the lcd cable, they are normally pretty quick to get at. It is worth a shot as lcds typically range from $400 - $1000 and to have someone install it would be probably another $50-$100

hope this helps a little

Screen

A replacement screen can be bought at most common phone repairers, i have had myne replaced due to scratching and dust on the inside. It seems to be a bit costly though, it shouldnt cost over a hundred though, could be alot cheaper.

Good Luck!
