Is this connected in reverse. please check this out.
If not there is failure in the rotary drive and can work aout expensive.
Remove and check the motor assembly to see the direction of flow and failure of the rotary vanes.

How do I get reverse suction with the electrolux epic 6000?

I have no idea just what reverse suction would be or how to get it from ANY vac. If you're looking at getting the blowing air from the vac instead of suction, then simply move the hose from the suction end to the exhaust end.

My hose is plugged

Disconnect and try blowing air down the hose from the opposite end of the handle...use an air compressor from the garage or service station.

Mmm cant find any info on this machine. Did you buy it in CAnada?

However. If you can find where the exhaust filter is, the bit where the air blows out, take off the cover and filter. If there is an exhuast blower it will be here.
I have to say that of late Electrolux have done away with this on most machines

Electrolux Epic 8000

YES,JUST TAKE OFF THE HEPA FILTER.
IF I MAY SUGGEST,IF YOU WANT TO BUY AN AREUS/ELECTROLUX YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK AT THEIR "BOTTOM OF THE LINE" MACHINE, THE "CLASSIC" IT'S HALF THE PRICE AND A MUCH BETTER DESIGN THEN THE NEW "FLAGSHIP" MODEL, WHICH IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN ANY PAST ELECTROLUX. IT'S BULKY,AWKWARD TO USE. EVEN IF YOUR BUYING FROM ANOTHER SOURCE, GO INTO AN AERUS DEALER AND GIVE THEM A TEST DRIVE.
I CLEAN APARTMENTS FOR A LIVING AND AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH ALL ELECTROLUX MODELS.
GOOD LUCK!
