thanks for your answer and will try to descale. May i ask if the descaling kit of nespresso pro can be used for the nespresso lattisima? Are there any adjustments that i should make?

Probably yes the steam valve has been goggled from scale deposit. Despite that you will not be able to get any steam or water out I sagest to perform the descaling procedure 3 to 4 times with intervals of 6 hours. There is a very good chance about 85% to open the valve and later with frequent descaling you can maintain it in good order.
However if after the above you don’t have any results then only way is to dismantle the machine and remove the valve so it will be clean manually from any scale deposit.
There is a small chance that you have dry milk at the exit of the steam wand so you can use a paper clip and try to insert in the steam wand so any possibility of a dry milk to be removed.

The descaling solutions of any brand are all similar so you can use the one you have.

Just leave the solution more time in the machine so their will be chances to desolve all the scale deposits.

i plan to use the ES 80 descaling kit of nespresso but this is suppose for their professional series. You think its ok to use for the lattissima. It is first time to descale the machine... so when you say perform 3 to 4 times with intervals of 6 hours, ... does that mean i have to have at least 3-4 descaling kits with me? or do i use the same fluid pack for the 3-4x in an interval basis?

also a filter is suppose to be used inside lever, the pack for the professional series does not have. Can i improvise? what kind of filter should i put inside the lever... a paper coffee filter? am so sorry to ask these improvised methods since i can only get hold of the professional descaling kit in my country for now.

My Nespresso machine does not suck up milk from the container and only hot water comes out, plus the small cup button flashes orange, is there any way to fix that?

Espresso machines sometimes come with a milk steamer wand. If your wand is producing water instead of steam, your machine is not heating properly.
But no machine draws milk into itself. If would be near impossible to clean.
Do you still have the Nespresso instructions ?

My Nespresso milk frother did not come with instructions. Is there some way to froth but not heat the milk?

they make one that has the option of frothing milk hot or cold. Blue light is cold. Red light is hot. The red light will always heat the milk. To get to the blue light, you need to hit the button twice.( First will go to red)

My nespresso aeroccino machine seems either quirky or moody: sometimes it froths the milk, and other times it just kind of heats it up and stirs it, even though I'm pouring the right amount of milk in and...

THEY SAY MILK MATTERS. SKIM OR LOW FAT BEST. ALSO MAKE SURE IT IS CLEAN, WHEN YOU ARE CLEANING IT, REMOVE THE FROTHER, TO BE SURE MILK DOES NOT STUCK IM COIL, WHICH CAN MAKE THE FROTHER, NOT MOVE AS QUICKLY AROUND.

Flashing red light. Nespresso Citiz & milk coffee machine.

problem is overheating at a single point in the bottom of the milk container. Try cleaning the milk residue after each time you use it and the flashing red light disappears. This is a design fault. Nespresso are happy to keep marketing the Citiz but there is no fix - so the Nespresso "mess free" coffee machine is a bunch of flannel - good coffee all the same!

Have to pull out the entire container and push it back into the unit so it fully connects with the machine. Then try again.
