Question about Samsung Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Hi my ive had my samsung r60 plus laptop for about 2 years, abs suddenly it's started freezing after about 2 minutes when I turn it on, the mouse doesn't move or anything, also my laptop doesn't seem to be that hot either so I don't think it's a case of over heating, I have done a system restore (which i had to do in safe mode, other wise it would freeze before I got the chance) and it still doesn't work, the only way I can turn it off is by taking the battery out please help, thank you

Have you installed any new applications, peripheral hardware or operating system updates recently as all of these can cause random issues. Is it possible to open the task manager whilst this lock up is occurring? If so, take a look at the running processes and sort them by CPU and/or memory usage to find the highest value image name then click on end process to see whether it clears the lock up.

When itry to install my laptop samsung r60 plus

I checked the manufacturer's web-site:

http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/download/supportDownMain.do

and did not find an 'R60' model of laptop.

Access that web-site, and enter the correct model-number,
and download the device-driver for your hardware.

Or, if it is a brand-new laptop, take it back to the retail store,
and ask them for assistance -- they took your money, and they should support you.

Problem with signal reaching PC when away from the router

On the wireless card there is two wires connected to it, a black wire and a white wire. Try reseating both of those wires back onto the wireless card.

If that doesn't do it then go ahead and reseat the wireless card itself back into the slot and see if that does it.

On both of these steps be sure to turn the laptop off first before doing them. Then turn the laptop on in both steps.

If that doesn't do it then your wireless card is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Samsung r60 plus notebook keyboard removal

Just need to remove the two screws on the rear marked KBD then turn the computer over and unclip the 7 tabs around the keyboard - 3 at the front and 2 either side, then carefully pull the keyboard up and towards you to release it at the back.
